Holly and Peter are Co-founders of The Handprint Carving Co. Holly now works for the NHS and was 'Tombliboo-oo' in the children's TV show 'In the Night Garden'. Pete is a luthier and furniture maker. The Handprint Carving Co. began when our son was a baby. After taking impressions of his tiny hands and feet, Pet took them to his farm workshop and began experimenting.

After many designs and much prototyping, the 'Ladder' and the 'Postcard' were born. The early moments of life are so very precious to new parents and we wanted to create something that will last, not only for a lifetime but, for generation. Oak is such a beautiful medium for such a precious keepsake. The feedback from our customers is definitely the most rewarding part of our work.
