It is with a heavy heart that I write to update all our customers about Christmas deliveries.
From 8th December we are unable to guarantee delivery before Christmas. That is not to say that you won’t receive your keepsake in time, but given the Royal Mail strikes during what is the busiest time of year for deliveries, the backlog is already causing huge delays beyond our control. As a small business that relies on the Christmas period for a successful year this is hugely frustrating. It is a huge worry for all online retailers, in particular independents, that our trading window has been cut short in 2022 but also that our customer service has been hugely affected.
Our team has worked round the clock in recent weeks to get every single order out on time and yet we have had to employ an additional member of the team to handle customer enquiries about deliveries.
The effect is catastrophic for our business and we really don’t want this to impact the magic of your Christmas which is why we have made the painful decision to put a flag up and warn you that your order may not arrive in time.
We would however advise arranging 24hr Tracked or Next Day Courier for your delivery.
